St. Louis Mills
When it’s too cold to play outside, make a trip to the St. Louis Mills Mall.  This mall offers more than just shopping.  There are activities for young and old such as ice-skating, indoor playgrounds, a skateboarding park and a full size movie theatre.   For more activities or information please visit the website.  www.stlouismills.com
Indoor Winter Fun
During the winter it makes it hard to keep kids active and to have a good time.  Please try these activities: Barnes & Noble has story times and book clubs for children and adults. Michael’s has arts and crafts for kids on Saturday’s, or you can also check out www.familyfun.go.com.

Book Crossing
Do you have books that you have read but don’t know where to keep them after they have been read?  Book Crossing has the perfect idea.  The first step is to read the book then after you have read the book, register the book at: www.bookcrossing.com and tag it with a BCID.  After you have registered your book, release it into the wild or give it to a friend and watch where it goes forever.  Book Crossing makes it fun to read and also helps bring books alive to those around the world.  Watch your book travel for miles and see how many books you can release.  Let’s try to see if we can make Missouri the top book exchange state in the USA.
 Best Thing Ever!
The Best thing this season to get the person who you may have thought had everything is Rain Boots.  You may have thought why would anyone ever wear these silly things.  Here is the answer: Have you ever went to a Mardi Gras parade or St. Patrick’s Day parade and realized that it is raining or snowing and your shoes and feet are going to get wet?  Well here is the answer if you have these wonderful Rain boots you can go to the parade without a care in the world about your feet getting wet.  They are surprisingly comfortable and warm.  They come in so many fun colors and styles.  They range in prices so everyone can own a pair of these fun shoes!

Things to look forward to in St. Louis in the month of March:
March 13th at Union Station celebrate St. Patrick’s Day.
Don’t forget to wear all the green you can this month and receive extra Ortho lotto tickets.
Be prepared to guess how many coins are in the pot of gold.
This month sparks the  start of our Scavenger Hunt.  By participating you will get the chance to receive extra coins and get the chance to win a super prize at the end of the summer.  Past winners received digital cameras or digital cam corders.  This year will be giving away something super exciting.
Going Green
March is also a time to go GREEN another way.  There are so many ways to help make this planet healthier and save it for the children of the future if we just give a little time to make better choices.  I have found a few educational websites that I will post in the office to help make it easier to do a little good for our planet.
